The battle, fought near Verdun during the final months of the war, was critical in routing the Germans and helped pave the way for the Armistice. Anyway hope you enjoy it, I dont think this map looks good right now but i may improve earlier on. As the Germans have to hike along the mucky landscape to get to the french trench. Krasnoborski, along with the works of our present cartographer, Mr. Longest and bloodiest battle of WW1, France has a buttload of machine guns to defend against the Germans.

In 1938 the predecessors of what is today The Department of History at the United States Military Academy began developing a series of campaign atlases to aid in teaching cadets a course entitled, "History of the Military Art." Since then, the Department has produced over six atlases and more than one thousand maps, encompassing not only America’s wars but global conflicts as well.
